BBC World Learning English

Improve our English skills is very important actually. From the internet we can find many pages where you can practice with; vocabulary, listening, writing exercises. To be honest, I visited BBC Learning English, and I really believe that page is very good; I found different videos, also a lot of quizzes (most of them very hard). The best thing that I saw, it was the “tips” part; there are many advices how to improve our pronunciation.

In the page I saw many English News from the all the planet. It was funny, I found some news about Chilean president (I hate him). The journalists do not know how pathetic can be Piñera, however, it was really interesting to see many news of the “world Cup” that is just around the corner (how the miss always says).

I checked some episodes of “face up to phrasals” (Bob and Jackie’s chemistry project). This was really helpful, I mean, these kinds of exercises are very good to learn phrasal verb and that kind of things. In the end, I listen some examples about “funky phrasals” used in parties. I am going to add BBC Learning English page, to my favourite pages on Firefox.

The worst night!

As everybody, I was sleeping when the earthquake started. I opened my eyes and I did not how to react. At first, I just worried for my laptop, and then I worried for my family. I know that was really brainless. After a while, (during the earthquake) I could talk to my mother and my brother, they were ok, just extremely scared as me. My father was driving to house at that hour. It was really traumatic to him. When the earthquake finished, my brother and I were very nervous, I would say we were in shock.

Sadly, we have same relatives in Talcahuano, where a very powerful tsunami destroyed everything, but their houses did not suffer any damage, I mean just some little things, for instance; carpet, TV, table, that kind of things, because the earthquake.


I fear natural events, even before the last one; nevertheless, my view about them has changed. We must be respectful with the earth, maybe these are kind of messages. I would not like to live other earthquakes in the future, I really hate them.

How to improve it??????

Honestly, I think that I need to study more. I got many marks and these are not according to my real level, maybe I should review daily my notebook or just study harder.

I have seen my mistakes and I do not really know what happens when I do quizzes. I am not getting good results doing these, what should I do?

How to improve my English skills is something that only up to me, what do you recommend me guys?

This week I have studied a lot, because I really want to get a good mark in the test and obviously I want to pass the course. The written part is very hard for me, and the listened part is the hardest.

Well, that is all… Now I am going to study… XD bye!!!

Well, this semester I have a lot of things that I would like to get. The most important one is improve my English skills. I have had many problems getting good grades, but I am going to study a lot. That is the only way to get good marks. I hope to pass this course XD.

I do not really like to describe my self, but I am going to do it anyway. Many people say that I serious person, also they believe that I am reliable guy.

Out of the college, I usually drink beer (on weekend), besides I play some videos games with my friends and spend time with my puppies. I often enjoy watching some movies with my brother. I personally think that I have a simple life…
